The only refreshment in the life of a bespectacled otaku named Takuya Hirao is his secret passion for video idol Nadzuna Suzushiro. He lives alone like all otaku, has no girlfriend, and works in a grocery store, where he is constantly berated by Suzuna's girlfriend, his work colleague. But today was a special day: Akihabara was selling DVDs of his idol favorite, and she was autographing them herself. Takuya was in high spirits as he walked home, carefully carrying the DVD in anticipation of watching it. What he was going to do during it - who knows... However, the unexpected happened: on the way he hesitated and bumped into his grumpy colleague Suzuna in one of the alleys. A box with a disk fell out of his hands, but a kind-hearted man who happened to be nearby picked it up and handed it to Takuya. Only it turned out to be something else entirely...
