A few years after the tragedy, Gene returns home to say goodbye to his father. There he meets his stepmother Sylvia, who more than resembles his mother. After his father's death, because of clarification about the inheritance, they are forced to move in with his grandfather. There, their grandfather's daughter and her children await them. Of course, everyone wants the inheritance. Gene and Sylvia are treated like servants. But grandfather doesn't have long to live either... What end awaits our heroes?
